A rich, full-bodied red with ripe black fruit, dark chocolate and a long, warming finish - made for steak and strong cheese.
Description

Deep ruby in the glass with purple hues, this is a wine that means business. The nose draws you in with blackberry, plum and vanilla, layered with spice and hints of cocoa and liquorice. On the palate it's full-bodied and richly textured - ripe black fruit, dark chocolate and sweet spice, carried by silky tannins and balanced acidity into a long, warming finish with subtle oak. A natural match for grilled ribeye, slow-braised beef, lamb shoulder or smoky barbecue, and equally at home alongside an aged cheddar or other hard cheeses.

Pairs with Northumberland Redesdale Sheeps' Cheese.

We ordered the four tier cheese wedding cake from them for our wedding on 29th December and it was the best experience. Lyn particularly was absolutely amazing and gave us advice and guided us through the process and a delicious tasting. All of the cheese was eaten after 2 days of celebration! And everyone commented on how delicious it was. Couldn't recommend more!
