Perched above our working dairy in Blagdon, the Cheese Loft is where our cheese meets a warm welcome, a proper coffee and a menu made to linger over. Come for lunch, stay for cake, and take some cheese home from the shop.

The café is reached by a flight of stairs, with handrails on both sides. Assistance dogs are welcome inside; all other four-legged friends are very welcome in our outdoor seating area, which is easily accessible for everyone.
There's something special about eating cheese where it's made. Our café sits right above the dairy, so while you settle in with lunch or an afternoon tea, the day's cheesemaking is happening just below.
Our menu changes with the seasons, with monthly specials and a spread that goes well beyond the cheeseboard - not everything here is cheese-based (though we'd forgive you for ordering it that way). Expect freshly made lunches, homemade cakes, proper coffee and our much-loved Afternoon Teas. Whenever a dish does feature cheese, it's our own Northumberland Cheese, made a few steps away.
Small but perfectly formed, our Cheese Loft Shop sits at the entrance to the café - the ideal place to explore our range before you head home. You can taste the cheeses we're sampling on the day, pick up your favourites, and discover pairings that bring out their best.
