Description

Hadston is our specially selected vintage Cheddar - a cheese for those who like real depth and bite. Aged to develop a bold, full flavour, it has a firm, brittle texture and that satisfying salty crunch that only comes with a well-matured cheddar. Rich, savoury and moreish, it's the kind of cheese that rewards a proper wedge.

Hadston is wonderful on a cheeseboard with chutney and oatcakes, crumbled over a salad, or simply enjoyed on its own with a glass of something robust.

We deliver across the UK. Delivery is free on orders over £40 and charged at checkout below that. Choose the delivery day that suits you at checkout and we will pack your order carefully so it arrives in perfect condition.

Cheese is a fresh product, so we cannot accept returns once an order has left the dairy. If anything is wrong with your order, get in touch within 48 hours of delivery and we will put it right.

Milk Provenance

The milk for our cows' milk cheeses comes from farms here in Northumberland, close to our dairy on the Blagdon Estate. Fresh local milk is the starting point for every batch of Original, Nettle, Oak Smoked and Chilli, and it is what gives them their rich, creamy character.

We've been crafting cheese at Blagdon for years, shaped by the landscape and farming heritage of Northumberland. Everything is made by hand, in small batches, by people who know that good cheese takes patience and care.

We ordered the four tier cheese wedding cake from them for our wedding on 29th December and it was the best experience. Lyn particularly was absolutely amazing and gave us advice and guided us through the process and a delicious tasting. All of the cheese was eaten after 2 days of celebration!
