A waxed truckle. Succulent chunks of mango & gentle ginger bring a fruity, slightly acidic flavour to the creaminess and smoothness of Wensleydale cheese.
Description

A waxed truckle that brings a little sunshine to the cheeseboard. Succulent chunks of mango and a gentle warmth of ginger are folded through smooth, creamy Wensleydale, adding a fruity, slightly tangy lift to the cheese's soft, mellow character. The result is sweet, fragrant and moreish, with just enough ginger to keep things interesting.

It's a lovely cheese for grazing - perfect with sweet crackers or oatcakes, on a fruity cheeseboard, or simply enjoyed on its own. It also makes a wonderful gift.

Alnwick Truckle: Wensleydale Cheese cow's (MILK), PDV salt with free flow agent E535, starter culture, rennet, mango pieces (dehydrated mango (16%), citric acid, sulphur dioxide, sugar),ginger (ginger pieces (7.6%), sulphur dioxide, sugar (1.8%)), white sugar. For allergens see ingredients in bold. Do not eat wax layer. Do not throw on an open fire. Suitable for Vegetarians & Pasteurised

We deliver across the UK. Delivery is free on orders over £40 and charged at checkout below that. Choose the delivery day that suits you at checkout and we will pack your order carefully so it arrives in perfect condition.

Cheese is a fresh product, so we cannot accept returns once an order has left the dairy. If anything is wrong with your order, get in touch within 48 hours of delivery and we will put it right.

Milk Provenance

The milk for our cows' milk cheeses comes from farms here in Northumberland, close to our dairy on the Blagdon Estate. Fresh local milk is the starting point for every batch of Original, Nettle, Oak Smoked and Chilli, and it is what gives them their rich, creamy character.

We ordered the four tier cheese wedding cake from them for our wedding on 29th December and it was the best experience.
