Elsdon goats' cheese (150g): Elsdon made with goats' milk from a single herd in Yorkshire. It is hard-pressed, and it has a closed texture. It is a beautiful pure white colour, and it has a delicate flavour, with a refreshing tang as the end note. 2024 won Gold at Global Cheese Awards, 2023 won a 1st at Mid-Somerset Show.
Chesterwood Goat's Cheese (150g):Our Elsdon cheese, smoked over oak for 8 hours. 2024 The Artisan Cheese Awards GOLD winner & CLASS Winner for the best Smoked Cheese. 2024 won Sliver at the Virtual Cheese Awards, the International Cheese & Dairy Awards & the Royal Cheshire Show.
Redesdale Sheep's Cheese (150g):A sweet, velvety textured cheese with a refreshing tang. Gold winner at the 2022 Global Cheese Awards Frome. 2024 won Bronze at the Mid Somerset show, the International Cheese & Dairy Awards & at the Global Cheese Awards.
All of our Northumberland cheeses are pasteurised and vegetarian.
Double Gloucester Chive & Onion 200g - waxed Truckle Originally, double Gloucester was made by adding cream from overnight milking to the morning milk, which produced a much richer product that has that signature smooth buttery flavour that pairs so well with the full-bodied flavour of the chives and onions. A firm bodied cheese with a smooth closed creamy texture that is has a golden base with particulate pieces of onions and chives.
Northumbrian Pantry Pear & Ginger 195g -A beautifully smooth fruity chutney with the gentle warmth of ginger balancing it nicely. Extremely versatile, perfect with goats cheese, great in salads and can even be used as a marinade.
Stockan’s Orkney Thin Triangle Oatcakes 100g - are made with fine milled oats and no added sugar. This oatcake is perfect for your cheeseboard or can be enjoyed on its own or with a wide variety of sweet or savoury toppings such as cheese, chutney, jams or seafood.
Island Bakery Mull Cheese Biscuit Traditional Farmhouse Cheddar 100g - These all butter biscuits have a melt-in-the-mouth texture, with a superb cheesy hit. This is a richly indulgent concoction, calling for a degree of self-restraint if the waistline is not to experience collateral damage.
