Following the success of the 30th birthday party last year, Northumberland Cheese Company are holding another open day at their Cheese Farm to mark the closing of the summer.
The ‘Family Fun Day’ has a host of family friendly activities. There will be petting animals from Whitehouse Farm, providing a variety of animals to cuddle. ‘Chris Cross’, the award-winning magician and street artist will be there, providing exclusive close-up and incredible magic. There will also be a bouncy castle for those energetic little ones! There will be reduced-price dairy tours every half hour for those who would like to see the goings-on in the depths of Northumberland Cheese’s cheese-making.
The Cheese Loft cafй is open for drinks and refreshments, but there will be additional food and drink services, including the French Oven and Anarchy Brewery beer from Morpeth. There will also be crafts from It Seems So Shabby Chic and Vintage Card and Button Art.
All of this will be accompanied by traditional Northumbrian music from Robson’s Choice, including Northumbrian Pipes, a fiddle, a whistle and a guitar.
Did we also mention that all of the cheese will be at discount price?!
Come along to The Cheese Farm between 10am-4pm Saturday 12th September. The event is free entry. We would love to see you there!
