This year, we entered our Brinkburn goats' cheese into the Semi-hard goat's cheese category (5003) at the World Cheese Awards. We are absolutely delighted to announce that it was awarded Super Gold in the category.
We are exceptionally proud of our produce, and award-winning Brinkburn is a particular favourite. Made from single-herd goat's milk from Dolken Dairy in Cumbria, the milk is beautifully pure. We pasteurise the milk ourselves, then using traditional methods, we produce a hard-pressed goat's cheese, which is cellar-ripened for four months. This produces a gorgeous, creamy cheese, with notes of coconut and mild sweetness, with an earthy edible rind.
