Brinkburn, our mould-ripened Goats' cheese, is stealing all of the limelight at Northumberland Cheese this year! It has just won Gold at the Guild of Fine Food World Cheese Awards, for hard-pressed goats' cheese. We were overjoyed with this accolade! It joins a few awards in our Brinkburn trophy cabinet, including Gold at the Nantwich International Cheese Awards, Gold at the Great Yorkshire Show (Speciality Goats' cheese), and Gold at Dumfries and Lockerbie. We are very proud of Brinkburn this year! It is unique as a goats' cheese, because it is hard-pressed, and it is mould-ripened. It has notes of coconut, and a gentle perfume. Well done Brinkburn!
