Brinkburn, our mould-ripened Goats' cheese, is stealing all of the limelight at Northumberland Cheese this year! It has just won Gold at the Guild of Fine Food World Cheese Awards, for hard-pressed goats' cheese. We were overjoyed with this accolade! Nicholson’s Butchers in Whitley Bay, headed-up by Kathryn Nicholson, submitted a home-made individual Steak and Blagdon Blue Cheese Pie in the Hot Pies and Bakery Category at Q Guild Smithfield Awards, and was awarded a perfect score in the category.
