Northumberland Cheese Company has had a fantastically successful summer of awards this year. We began with the Artisan Cheese Awards in Melton Mowbray (they were at the end of April, but we think that almost counts as summer!), where we were delighted to gain a Bronze award for our Brinkburn in the best goats' cheeese category, and we won a silver award for best newcomer for Northumberlandia; we were especially excited about this, as Northumberlandia is a new face in the cheese world this year. Brinkburn, our mould-ripened Goats' cheese, is stealing all of the limelight at Northumberland Cheese this year! It has just won Gold at the Guild of Fine Food World Cheese Awards, for hard-pressed goats' cheese. We were overjoyed with this accolade!
