This is normally a venue for our consumer customers, but do you work in catering or hospitality and would like to work with us? We can provide any of our cheeses as mediums (approximately 2.5kg), halves (approximately 1.2kg) or quarters (appoximately 600g). Kielder, Elsdon and Blagdon Blue are particularly fantastic to cook with, and we also like to see our Brinkburn (goats' cheese), Coquetdale or Nettle cheese on a cheese board! Brinkburn, our mould-ripened Goats' cheese, is stealing all of the limelight at Northumberland Cheese this year! It has just won Gold at the Guild of Fine Food World Cheese Awards, for hard-pressed goats' cheese. We were overjoyed with this accolade! It joins a few awards in our Brinkburn trophy cabinet, including Gold at the Nantwich International Cheese Awards, Gold at the Great Yorkshire Show (Speciality Goats' cheese), and Gold at Dumfries and Lockerbie. Nicholson’s Butchers in Whitley Bay, headed-up by Kathryn Nicholson, submitted a home-made individual Steak and Blagdon Blue Cheese Pie in the Hot Pies and Bakery Category at Q Guild Smithfield Awards, and was awarded a perfect score in the category. Following the success of the 30th birthday party last year, Northumberland Cheese Company are holding another open day at their Cheese Farm to mark the closing of the summer. The ‘Family Fun Day’ has a host of family friendly activities.
